This anti-malware scanner is
designed to run alongside your existing security software and provide a second
opinion about whether any malicious programs have sneaked through your system
defenses. In January, it was released in German, but there’s now an English-language
version available. Not that this makes much difference, because Avira PC
Cleaner has no settings to worry about. Just click the ‘Scan system’ button and
the program will get to work. You can also opt to run a slower full scan.
Provided your PC is given the all-clear, you’ll see a green tick. If the
program encounters malware, you’ll be able to remove it in a single click.
