If your PC is no longer running as
smoothly as it once did. System Explorer will help find the programs and
processes that are slowing it down, and keep them under control. When you first
run the software, it will perform a security check and alert you if It finds
any possible threats. The scan can be rerun at any time.
System Explorer has a tabbed
interface that lets you switch between Tasks, Processes, Performance and
History. The Tasks section shows you which programs are running, and their
current processor and memory usage. This is updated in real time, so you’ll
instantly see if a particular application suddenly malfunctions. You can end a
task, switch to It or create a new one. Clicking an application name will tell
you more about it.
The Processes section lists all
running processes and system services, and provides information about them. You
can run security check on any potentially suspicious files. The list can be
filtered by ticking or unticking buttons along the top. This will let you see processes
from just your user account or from all users; show or hide Microsoft entries;
show or hide system services: and switch to tree view.

The Performance tab has graphs showing
processor and memory usage, as well as detailed Information for more technical
users. Under History, you can
see every process and network activity
that’s occurred since the program started.
If that’s not enough information,
you can add numerous additional tabs for (among other things) Windows, Drivers,
Users, uninstallers, Networking, Opened Files and Autoruns.
