It can be difficult to squeeze
everything you want to say into a 140-character tweet, and breaking a comment
over several tweets often looks odd.
One solution to this is to use a
tweet- extending service, of which our favorite is Long-Tweets (long-tweets
.com). Sign into the site using your Twitter account; compose your tweet, using
as many characters as you want, and click ‘tweeeeeeeeeeeet’ to post it to
Twitter as an image. This means your followers can read the whole thing without
leaving the site.
You can even give the tweet a
title and insert hash tags. Other good options for composing long tweets
include Tall Tweets (talltweets.com) and Twit Longer (www.twitlonger.com).
