System Mechanic lets you take before and after snapshots of your
system to help you find out what happens when it crashes. These
snapshots will come in handy if you seek
help from an IT expert, who
can use them to diagnose and fix your PC.

Start by taking a snapshot of your PC while it’s working normally. Click Toolbox, Individual
Tools. Perform Diagnostics and click the Start button beside System Change
Tracker. Select ‘Save current system state for future comparison’ and click
Next. System Mechanic will save the snapshot on your hard drive. Next time your
computer crashes, go to System Change Tracker, select 'Compare current system
state...’ and click Next to take a new snapshot. Click Export, give the file a
name and click Save.
