It’s best known for its free
anti-virus software, but AVG also offers other free tools, including PC Tune
Up, Identity Protection. Privacy Fix and lots of mobile apps. The newly
released AVG Zen brings together all your AVG products in one suite, so you can
install and manage them centrally. You can also add and monitor your
household’s other computers, smart phones and tablets to make sure that all
your devices are fully protected at all times.
The
PC version of AVG Zen comes with either AVG
Antivirus or PC TuneUp and there’s an Android app available on Google Play
(bit.ly/avgzen343).
Step
by step guide:-
1-Install
Zen on your PC and an icon representing your computer appears. If you installed
the program alongside another AVG product, the associated button will be green.
Click it to open the product. Click a grey button to add a
missing component.
2-If you have yet to run a scan or problems have been
detected. AVG Zen will show this on the component button. A green ring means no problems. While
a partial ring means you need to address something. You can also
view all problems by clicking Messages. Zen lets you fix each
problem in turn.
3-Click
Privacy & Identity to install Identity Protection and Privacy Fix. The
first safeguards you from identity stealing malware, and the second secures
Facebook, Google and LinkedIn, Adding each program increases your score by 50
percent during updates of components, Zen shows the percentage complete.
4-To
get the
most from Zen, you need to add your other devices. Click the Plus button and
choose an Android device or another PC. You'll be prompted to connect
to a Zen Network. Enter your email address create a password, then
click Connect. Send an email invite to the new device.
5-Follow
the instructions to add the device. If you've already installed AVG Zen on
Android. you'll need to activate it. Then log into your account. The linked
devices will be shown 1 and you can switch between them by tapping the one you
want. You can’t install apps directly from the Android version.
