new version of its astronomy tool "Worldwide Telescope 5". Here’s what you need to know

are several excellent free astronomy programs, including Stellarium (www.stellarium.org) and Celestia
(sourceforge.net/projects/celestia), but Worldwide Telescope Is arguably the
best. Used In schools, universities, and planetariums around the world, It
comes packed with detailed views
of the universe and oodles of interactive educational content. To celebrate the
software’s fifth anniversary, Microsoft Research has updated the program and
introduced improved visuals, 3D models, and several powerful new features aimed
at professional users, including creating sophisticated tours of space and MlDl
controller support.
