Animated GIFs can be clever and
funny, and you’ll sometimes come across one you want to share but can’t because
downloading is blocked in some way. To solve this, use the technique described
above and drag and drop the image to your Desktop. Drag the GIF back into your
browser to make sure it works. If it doesn’t animate when uploaded to a website
(or used as an avatar), it doesn't necessarily mean there’s something wrong
with it -
some
sites simply don’t allow the format. If you want to download animated GIFs to
your Android tablet or phone, try the free app Animated GIF Player (bit.ly/gifapp328) which has more than 50,000 animated GlFs you can watch, download and share.
